Set within Toronto’s High Park neighbourhood, the Westminster Residence reinterprets the familiar language of Edwardian gabled homes through a bold, contemporary lens. A low, dark brick volume anchors the project at street level, grounding the home within its context while giving it a quiet, unmistakable presence. The textured brick base plays a defining role in this balance, offering depth, weight, and permanence against the lighter, more expressive forms above, allowing the project to feel both rooted in its surroundings and distinctly its own.
